iClimb Ltd recognised a need for climbers and gyms to be able to get the most from each other. Gyms needed an efficient method of getting up to date information to its customers – regular gym-goers rarely visit the website, and some aren’t much interested in social media. Climbers just want to climb! Knowing what’s happening in their gym helps them plan their climbing lives, and this app pushes critical information from their favourite gym to them via the Aggregator® app; it enables them to find the climbs and blocs in their gym and easily record their attempts or ascents in a visual traffic light system. They will see the colour of the holds, when the climb was set, the grade given, who set it and when it will disappear. They will get an opportunity to give a little feedback through the app. If they join an aggregate competition over a fixed period of time, the app will add them to a leader board which updates instantly every time a climber gets points. This is very motivational for the climber, and gains their loyalty. Proven to be easy to use for all ages, young and old, and gyms can gain a wealth of useful statistics from their regulars. The app is free for all climbers to download and have for general use and information, with a small fee required to enter competitions.
